Welcoming Carl Hammarskiöld as Quantitative Analyst

Carl Hammarskiöld has joined us as a Quantitative Analyst after spending time with us as an intern. During that period, it became clear that he brings more than strong analytical skills. His curiosity, engagement and thoughtful questions have already made an impact. So we’re very pleased that he is now continuing with us in a permanent role.

Carl holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics, with a focus on macroeconomic analysis. His academic work covered both macro- and microeconomics as well as econometrics, combining theory with practical application.

– What drew me to the role was the opportunity to put my academic background to work in a new context, while learning more about both the market and the company. I really enjoyed my internship. The work was interesting and the team incredibly welcoming. I was genuinely happy to be offered the position, Carl says.

In his new role, Carl will continue to follow developments in the housing market, analysing trends and sharing insights with our credit analysts and other colleagues. He sees problem-solving as one of his key strengths.

– There will continue to be a strong focus on numbers, systems and strategy. For me, this is an opportunity to grow and to learn as much as I can from the people around me.
