Johan Kristensen joins as Chief Credit Officer, bringing extensive experience from his previous role as Head of Credit at Aros Kapital. In his new position, Johan will take overall responsibility for the fund’s credit operations. He will also be part of Bostadskreditfonden’s management team and serve as Chair of the company’s Credit Committee.

– I’m very much looking forward to joining the team. It’s a unique opportunity to contribute to the strong momentum Bostadskreditfonden has already demonstrated. The fact that the fund operates under a lighter regulatory framework than banks and credit institutions, while still benefiting from Boverket’s state credit guarantee, represents a clear market advantage and creates real value for our borrowers, enabling them to start more residential projects. I’m highly motivated to be part of driving more sustainable housing development by offering simpler and more secure financing to our clients, says Johan Kristensen, Chief Credit Officer at Bostadskreditfonden.

Maria Malmros, previously Head of Business Area at Aros Kapital, joins as Portfolio Manager and will take overall responsibility for the fund’s investments, together with Agnes Nyberg and Peter Maxén, who both take on roles as Credit Analysts. They also join from Aros Kapital. All new team members bring extensive experience from major banks and are already familiar with Bostadskreditfonden’s core product offering. Together, they form a new team that will help ensure the fund’s long-term success, drive growth, and attract new borrowers.

– Lending and investment are at the core of our business, and these recruitments are part of our long-term strategy for continued growth. By bringing in some of the most experienced and skilled professionals in the industry, we can meet the needs of the market and maintain a consistently high standard. This is just the beginning, more recruitments will follow shortly. With experienced specialists, personal service, and efficient processes, we aim to provide residential developers with a safer and simpler financing alternative, says Lottie Löf, CEO of Bostadskreditfonden.

In connection with the new hires, Bostadskreditfonden is also opening a new office in Gothenburg, where several of the new team members will be based. The move is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its regional presence and better meet the growing demand in western and southern Sweden.
